Participants from some countries may require visas to enter Canada. Consult Citizenship and Immigration Canada’s entry requirements for your country. As of November, 2016, citizens from visa-exempt countries are required to apply online for an Electronic Travel Authorization before boarding flights bound for Canada. Participants requiring visitor visas can apply online or contact the closest domestic visa application centre.

In some cases, you may be required to obtain a letter of support from JCDL stating that you will be attending the conference. Process of requesting the letter is as follows:

1. Register for the conference
2. Send a request for a visa support letter using this template to christina.tooulias@utoronto.ca
3. Letters of support will be mailed within 5 business days.
